Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Radon Mitigation Companies (the "Site"), operated by Radon Mitigation Companies ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Using the Site

The Site provides a directory of radon testing and mitigation professionals. You may use the Site to search for providers by city or ZIP code, view provider information, compare services, and submit quote requests. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the Site to harvest provider data, circumvent security measures, or interfere with the Site's operation.

Provider information

Provider listings are compiled from public directories, professional associations, and other sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that provider information is complete, current, or error-free. Verification badges indicate that certain credential or profile signals were found in our data at a point in time; they do not constitute certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of quality.

Always verify a provider's current licensing, certification, insurance, and credentials directly before hiring. Provider availability, pricing, and service areas may change without notice.

Quote requests

When you submit a quote request, you are asking a provider to contact you. Submitting a quote request does not create a contract between you and the provider, nor does it guarantee a response, quote, or specific pricing. Any agreement for services is solely between you and the provider.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided in quote requests. By submitting a quote request, you consent to being contacted by the selected provider using your preferred contact method.

Third-party services

The Site uses third-party services including Mapbox for geocoding, Google Analytics for site analytics, OpenStreetMap for map tiles, and Cloudflare for hosting. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

The Site may contain links to external provider websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, content, and compilation of provider data are owned by Radon Mitigation Companies and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our written permission.

Provider names, logos, and other information displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee the services of any provider listed on the Site. The decision to contact or hire a provider is yours alone.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Radon Mitigation Companies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Site or reliance on information provided through the Site.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radon Mitigation Companies, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the most recent changes were made. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
